Friday, December 15th, will be remembered as a milestone in the history of social media. From the early hours following the release of Threads, the new social platform owned by Meta, available in the European Union starting at 12:00 yesterday morning, thousands of fans have flooded the app, with the hashtag #F1Threads literally going viral in no time.
Even Charles Leclerc, officially joining in the afternoon, underwent an impromptu interview by the official Threads account.
Charles Leclerc also gets carried away by Threads Mania
In the early afternoon hours, the Ferrari driver succumbed to the thousands of requests from his fans, who loudly called for his arrival on Mark Zuckerberg’s newest social media platform. For the occasion, the official Threads account was well-prepared, subjecting Charles to a series of various questions.
What job would you do in an alternative universe?
“I think an architect! I’ve always liked design, and architecture is something I love a lot. It’s fantastic to be able to travel so often and see all the different architectures of every country. I find it very inspiring!”
What are you doing these days? Are you relaxing, we hope?
“This is the only time of the year when I can spend a lot of time at home, so I’m enjoying it! I’m relaxing, but also training a lot to prepare for the next season! Unfortunately, yesterday I also had to go to the dentist, so I’ll spend this weekend recovering.”
When you travel, what do you miss most about home?
“Probably my piano! Music relaxes me a lot and helps me disconnect. I started playing the piano only during the pandemic, but now it’s something I really love! Every time I’m away from home, I miss it a lot!

What is your favorite holiday movie?

Last question: do you have a favorite ice cream flavor?
“Vanilla, never doubted it. Any other answer would be wrong.”
