[VIDEO] 2023 Corvette Z06 Races the McLaren Artura for Quarter Mile Glory
About a week ago, we came across a video of a 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida. The car was run against the McLaren Artura and a Huracan Evo, but the video was rather poor in that it captured the launches but didn’t show any times or the actual finish of the races.
Today, we have a redo thanks to the DragTimes YouTube channel that was also there, and had multiple cameras attached to the car so you would know exactly how the cars finished. This video focuses on the battle between the 670-hp Corvette Z06 and the Artura, which is powered by a twin-turbo 3.0L V6 making 671-hp.
The video even shows some of the pre-race claims from the owners of their cars and there were a few $100 bills waved around as bets were placed. We already told you about the times in the previous video, and that the conditions were not ideal due to a 20-mph headwind. The Z06 stacks up well against its much pricier competition, so let’s go see just how close those races were.
From DragTimes via YouTube:
It’s the battle of 670 HP with the all new Cheverolet Corvette C8 Z06 taking rare McLaren Artura down the 1/4 Mile.
