The Toyota Highlander (available at Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield, PA) is the second-best-selling SUV in all of America. For 2024, Toyota ups the game with the new Toyota Grand Highlander, which takes this popular model to a new level. Here’s a sneak preview of what to expect.
All the way back in 2006, the Highlander was the first of its kind to offer a hybrid powertrain. For 2024, you can enjoy an impressive 362 HP on the Hybrid MAX Powertrain; of course, two other options are available: a 2.4L turbo gas engine and a 2.5L hybrid that delivers 34 mpg. You won’t lack for towing power: the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander can haul up to 5,000 pounds.
And of course, there’s an available all-wheel drive for better performance under just about any weather conditions.
All of this is wrapped in a contemporary new exterior look featuring a hammerhead front grille, sharp rear bumper, dual exhaust, and available 20-inch wheels.
Inside, you’ll find comfortable seating for up to eight – including a third row that actually fits grownups. And the new design features plenty of cargo space for any weekend getaway you might have planned for the family. Technically, the Toyota Grand Highlander may qualify as a “midsize” SUV, but for the comfort and interior space that it offers, it feels much larger – hence, the name “Grand.”
This upgraded Highlander also sports fresh, tech-savvy features, like a wireless charger, seven USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 12.3-inch multimedia system. Also available is Traffic Jam Assist, and a Panoramic View Monitor that offers a 360-degree view of everything around your vehicle.
