WATCH: De Vries makes track debut with AlphaTauri
AlphaTauri has released footage of Nyck de Vries taking to the track for the first time with the team in their 2023 Formula 1 challenger earlier this month.
The Dutchman made his track debut at Misano World Circuit in Italy, with footage showing the ‘Drivers Eye’ and ‘pedal cam’ perspective of the shakedown laps in the AT04.
Drivers Eye will be available to all competitors in 2023 after previously only being available to drivers that used Bell Helmets.
RacingForce announced a deal with F1 to provide the microcamera system to all helmet makers, which enables TV viewers to see the unique perspective of the drivers through their visors.
