Ford’s racing teams around the world of motorsport will pay tribute to recently deceased driver Ken Block, whose long-standing partnership with the brand led to no shortage of exceptional vehicles.

Ford Performance tweeted this weekend that every one of its race teams across all global series “are gonna bring you along for one final ride to start the season.” With that, the organization posted photos of a special decal that appears to be color coded to each vehicle’s livery and features Block’s likeness and his racing number.

In his motorsport activities, as well as in his Gymkhana videos, Block had a partnership with Ford that lasted 11 years before ending in 2021, on good terms. The driver announced soon after that he would be partnering with Audi to promote its vehicles, and the first product of that collaboration was posted shortly before his untimely death in a snowmobiling accident in Utah.

His more-than-a-decade with Ford, though, produced no shortage of fascinating vehicles. His fleet included the Hoonicorn, an AWD, twin-turbocharged, Roush Yates V8-powered Mustang that made 1,400 hp (1,044 kW/1,420 PS), the similarly wild Hoonitruck, and many more.

Such was the closeness of their relationship, that when Block left Ford, the company’s CEO, Jim Farley, sent the driver a personalized farewell message.

“I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for the company and how proud we are of everything we’ve accomplished,” he said at the time.

Farley has once again honored Block by sporting the tribute sticker on the Number 98 Ford Mustang GT4 that he drove at the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge this past weekend, per GM Authority. Additionally, the decal was worn by the M-Sport Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1 racer at the Rallye Monte Carlo. The sticker is also expected to be worn in sports car, NASCAR, and a variety of other series around the world.
