Friends, colleagues, and random passers-by are likely tired of hearing me tout just how special the Monterey Pre-Reunion is year in year out. With fewer crowds to contend with, lower admission prices, and nearly all of the same cars in action as the Reunion proper, the Monterey Pre-Reunion is a bit of a nicely kept secret.
The precursor to the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion serves as a chance for racers to get double the track time in one trip to WeatherTech Laguna Seca Raceway, and an opportunity to dial in their cars/skills before the Big Show in a few days.
Over 300 cars were on hand for the weekend with more to pack the paddock in the coming days. Don’t forget to join RACER and Vintage Motorsport in the garage area where we will be supporting the Laguna Seca Raceway Foundation and showing off one of Mazda’s raucous T-616 Le Mans prototypes at the Rolex Monterey Motorsport Reunion later this week.
